On the other hand, the MCAT group also has a laboratory for the synthesis of polymers, as well as their porous characterization (surface area, pore size distribution, pore volume, porosity, He density and apparent density), thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity and electrochemical characterization of materials.

Finally, the MCAT group has the necessary equipment to evaluate the different synthesized materials as enzyme support, manufacturing and characterization of columns for separation processes.
