BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE GROUP
The Microwave and Carbon for Technological Applications group (MCAT) is part of the Department of Chemical Processes in Energy and Environment of the Institute of Carbon Science and Technology (INCAR), belonging to the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). The research carried out by this group is mainly focused on the use of microwave heating and the design and manufacture of polymeric materials. The research lines developed are related to various areas such as chemical science and technology, materials, energy, environment protection and biotechnology.
